UVA Afterschool Instructor
The instructor will provide instruction and support to enrolled recreational youth participants in the Afterschool Program (weekdays only). Instructors are further responsible for developing lesson plans that correspond with assigned classes and activities, providing feedback to youth participants, and supporting the upkeep of the recreational facilities and outdoor spaces in support of providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Archery Instructor (Handshake) – Job #9323914
Instructors lead instruction for participants ages 8-18 at Youth Archery on Saturdays at the Clark Kerr Campus’s Golden Bear Recreation Center (GBRC). Youth Archery Instructors must have at least a level 1 NTS Archery Instruction certification, as well as strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with youth participants.

Basketball Instructor (Handshake) – Job #9215773
Basketball Instructors provide instruction and support to enrolled recreational youth participants as assigned in a clinical athletic setting. Basketball Instructors are further responsible for developing lesson plans that challenge specific skills or parts of the game, providing feedback to youth participants, using quantifiable methods to chart progress, and supporting the upkeep of the Community Center gymnasium and spaces in support of providing a safe and nurturing environment.

UVA Facility Monitor
Facility monitor oversees customer service issues, access pass and check-ins, follows safety protocols, enforces policies, and helps ensure the UVA Community Center runs to business needs while serving the student resident community.
