I’m Boris (a University Village resident + Haas MBA student), and I’m running a student-led, 1-unit elective this Spring that’s open to all UC Berkeley students (any school).
MBA 294.10 — Humanism: Shareholder Perspective
Class Format: Attendance-only Grading!
What Is This Course?:
Over 6 sessions, we practice simple, practical ways to manage real life—stress, overload, decisions, relationships—without turning it into another heavy commitment. Each class = one self-management tool + one feelings arc (e.g., anxiety → calm). You’ll gradually build a lightweight consulting-style “case” for your own life, where the customer is you as a human (thinking + feeling + contradictory + real)
Two Tracks for Continued Learning:
• Rational / professional: 4 years in consulting + PhD work in sociology
• Feelings / “directing” track: 6-year art school diploma
