Residential Programs and Resources
Family Friday for All Ages: On the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., we have Family Fridays at the Community Center! On an alternating basis, a family-friendly movie will be shown or board games will be available for play. Pizza will be available for $1 per slice, as well as free popcorn for movie nights. Bring the kids and have a nice evening together! ON HIATUS for Summer.
Kids Sing Along: As of November 2018, the huge turnout to our village singalongs has prompted a new system that offer a higher-quality experience for those who attend. We offer two weekly singalong sessions (you may choose either Wednesdays at 9:30 OR 10:30am). Each session will meet for six weeks, and will be capped at 15 children.

radKIDS Program: The radKIDS® Personal Empowerment Safety Education Program is a family-centered education program that emphasizes essential decision-making skills as well as physical resistance options to escape violence. Children from 5 to 12 years of age can participate in the program. For more information, contact Wendy Ellison at radKIDS.UVA@gmail.com
Nacho Wednesdays: 4:30-6 p.m. every Wednesday in the Community Center, free for Village resident teens ages 13 to 17.
Youth Advisory Council: Wednesday, 3:45 - 4:30 p.m. in the Four Corners Room in the Community Center. Parent/Guardian signed participation waiver is needed to attend meetings.
LAN Party: Every other Friday, 8:30 - 11 p.m. in the East Room in the Academic Center. Must bring parent/guardian signed waiver to event in order to attend.

America 101 is a wonderful English program designed for students, staff, and families living in University Village. Topics include: "911, I Need Help!" "American Slang," "How to Interview" and more. For more information on America 101, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Berkeley International Office provides knowledge and expertise in advising, immigration services, advocacy, and programming to the UC Berkeley campus community.
Berkeley Adult School is a community resource that offers classes for learning English, completing educational goals, learning professional skills, and more.

The Village Google Group is a open forum for Village Residents and contains unsolicited information posted by a wide variety of individuals and organizations about (but not limited to) events, activities, professional services, businesses, items for sale or rent, etc. The posted content is not moderated by University Village at the University of California at Berkeley, and it is the Google Group users' responsibility to exercise their judgment in evaluating or utilizing any information shared in the Google Group.
