Tighten, tone, and strengthen all the muscles of your core! This 30-minute class will focus on exercises designed to increase the stability, stamina, and musculature of your midsection, hips, and back. Challenging gymnastics equipment, exercise balls, and your own body weight will be used to provide resistance for each movement.

In this course participants improve their understanding of priorities in pronouncing more clearly, the rhythm of American English including stress and intonation, phonetic sounds and effective pausing. Through highly effective instruction, students learn to communicate effectively in their everyday lives, work environments and formal interviews or presentations.

Lose weight, get fit, have fun! Come workout with friends in a positive, encouraging, and energetic atmosphere. Bootcamp will be centered around improving your cardiovascular health, total bodystrength, and overall fitness performance. No prior exercise or athletic experience is needed as all exercises can be progressed or regressed depending on your fitness level. The training tools will include resistance bands, calisthenics, medicine balls, agility ladders, cycling, and plyometrics. Join us for a fun and challenging workout in a motivational environment.

University Village Recreation has a small weight room open to Village residents and the general public. A Weight Room Orientation is required for anyone wishing to use the weight room. Orientations are by appointment only and are free with a Recreation membership. Weight room hours and the Weight Room Orientation schedule can be found on the sidebar. As a courtesy to others, please bring a towel with you when using the weight room!
