Programs for Children

With so many children living in the Village, we make it a priority to offer many wonderful programs and activities for children and families:

Family Friday - On the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, a family-friendly video will be shown in the Community Center complete with free fruit, drinks, and popcorn. Pizza is also available for $1 per slice. Bring the kids and have a nice evening together!

Children's Sing-Along - Parents and children gather to sing songs with the staff of the Family Resource Center in the FRC facilities (435 Gooding Way in Blg 123, Apt 456) on Fridays 10AM - 11AM.

Funny Fridays for Preschoolers - Songs, cooking, and art projects for children ages 3 - 5 years old and their parents. Parents or caregivers must accompany children. No reservation required. Held on Fridays, 2PM - 3PM in the FRC facilities (435 Gooding Way in Blg 123, Apt 456).

Teen Night - The Friday Teen Night program is a drop-in activity for University Village teens 6th grade through 12th grade. Activities include movies, games, ping poing, and exclusive use of the University Village gymnasium. Free pizza, popcorn, and ice cream are given to those who attend. Teens are allowed to invite one non-resident guest and are supervised by University Village staff. Not being held during the summer.

radKIDS - radKIDS teaches positive, safe choices for children to handle abuse, bullying, and abduction as well as everyday safety issues. It gives children the confidence, skills and self esteem to recognize, resist and if necessary, escape violence.
